The piece is overall very smooth and hits well. I’m not sure if I can say the same for everyone else but mine came with a slight warp in the downstem from the manufacturer and keeps the bowl from properly fitting and heavily impacts the hit. Aside from that it is a very aesthetically pleasing piece but does not have full function
